  • Work independently at construction sites throughout the Kansas City metro area.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for less‑experienced technicians.
  • Support field and/or laboratory testing activities based on project and team needs.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and client service.
What We Provide

  • Company-provided PPE.
  • Cell phone reimbursement options.
  • Paid training and opportunities to continue expanding your technical knowledge and certifications.
  • Mentorship and career‑development opportunities within Olsson.
  • Taking ownership of your work and producing accurate, reliable results.
  • Working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Applying your field experience to solve problems.
  • Supporting quality and safety on construction projects.
  • Using your expertise to positively impact the communities where you work.
You Bring to the Team
  • 6+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, or construction materials testing.
  • ICC, ACI Grade I, and Nuclear Gauge certifications, OR a bachelor’s degree in engineering with EIT certification.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Associate degree from a technical or four‑year school preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on project needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving history.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
