Job summary

Certerra RMA Group is seeking a Senior CMT Technician in Nashville, TN to perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure compliance with testing protocols and complete accurate reports for daily submission.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience, valid driver's license, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Competitive hourly wages and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience.
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, observation, and inspection as directed, following training and procedures.
• Provide clear, complete documentation of findings and results.
• Conduct basic data analysis to verify accuracy before communicating results to the Project Manager.
• Communicate project updates and findings to the Project Manager and other personnel as directed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple areas of field or laboratory testing and inspection.
• Train lower-level technicians as needed.
• Lead the activities of other engineering technicians on large projects.
• Maintain and calibrate assigned equipment.
• Operate company vehicles.
• Adhere to safety rules and project requirements; perform pre-task planning.
