Job summary

Certerra-RMA Group seeks a Construction Lab/Field Project Manager in Nashville, TN. This leadership role oversees laboratory and field technicians, coordinating testing operations for soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards.

You will review data, manage schedules and resources, coach staff, and ensure compliance with quality systems and safety policies, while supporting project planning and client deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of laboratory and field technicians performing construction materials testing and inspection services.
• Review, verify, and approve testing data, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Schedule personnel and allocate resources to support project demands and client deadlines.
• Monitor technician performance and provide coaching, training, and mentorship to promote technical development and career growth.
• Ensure laboratory and field operations comply with company quality management systems, accreditation requirements, and industry standards.
