Job summary

Olsson is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Materials and Testing (CMT) Technician in Springfield, MO. You will independently collect material samples from construction sites and perform tests to assess properties and integrity, documenting findings for project managers and stakeholders.

You will travel to job sites around the Springfield metro, work in varied terrain and weather, and use a company truck, PPE, a laptop, and cell phone reimbursement. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred, but not required.
• 6+ years' experience in construction observation or inspection.
• ICC, ACI Grade I, Nuclear Gauge certifications required OR a bachelors degree in engineering with EIT.

Responsibilities

• Collect construction materials samples from various construction sites and perform tests and inspections to assess properties and integrity.
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Travel to job sites around the Springfield area metro and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
