Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Construction Materials and Testing (CMT) Technician to help ensure quality and safety on diverse construction projects. You will collect material samples from sites, perform tests, and document findings for project managers.

Travel to various job sites and work in all types of weather and terrain is required. The role includes company-provided PPE, a company truck for site transport, laptop, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• ACI Grade 1 / ICC Nuclear Gauge / DoT certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Independently collect construction materials samples from various sites and perform tests and inspections.
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Travel to multiple job sites and work in all weather conditions and terrains.
