Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing Senior Project Manager to join our Charlotte field services team. You will oversee multiple projects from proposal to final invoice, consulting with clients and project teams to ensure on-time completion and budget control.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior managers, managing budgets, preparing change orders, and expanding our client relationships while upholding ASTM standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the specified fields (Construction Management degrees may not be considered).
• Minimum of 5 full years of relevant experience.
• Professional licensure including PE or PG.
• Valid driver's license and insurance if driving for ECS.
• Strong marketing skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Sound understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Sound knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM laboratory standards.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills to collaborate with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and collaboration with project teams.
• Prepare invoices, pay applications, and assist with collection efforts.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders, prioritize tasks, and attend client meetings.
• Mentor junior project managers and support staffing decisions with other managers and recruiters.
• Market ECS services and maintain existing client relationships.
