Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Associate Principal for our Carrolton field services team. You will lead project quality and supervision, consult with clients and teams to meet goals from proposal to final review, and guide staff through technical challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology (Note: Construction Management degrees and certain Technology degrees may not be considered).
At least 8 years of relevant experience including drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports.
Professional licensure such as PE or PG is required.
Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm may be requested.
Maintain all licenses and certifications for compliance with laws.
Valid driver’s license and insurance if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

Oversee CMT projects, review technical reports, prepare and review proposals, and assist with department and P&L management.
Provide technical expertise and mentor CMT staff through training and development.
Mentor junior project managers and collaborate with managers on staffing decisions.
Attend or host project meetings with clients and provide technical resolutions as needed.
Market ECS services and maintain existing client relationships.
