Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Principal Engineer to join our Atlanta field services team. You’ll oversee quality and performance on projects, consulting with clients and project teams to ensure goals and deadlines from proposal to final review are met.

You will also mentor junior project managers, provide technical oversight, and help expand business by strengthening existing client relationships and new opportunities in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• BS in one of the specified fields; other CM degrees may not be considered.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports.
• Professional licensure as PE or PG.
• Senior reviewer designation at current or previous firm.
• Maintain licenses and certifications as required by law.
• Strong leadership, safety, and professionalism; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMT projects and review technical reports and proposals.
• Mentor staff and support staff development; assist with staffing decisions.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical resolutions as needed.
• Market services and maintain client relationships.
