Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Laboratory Technician I to join our Fort Worth team. You will work with experienced professionals to perform tests in concrete and soils laboratories, with room to grow through certifications and advanced tasks.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
Must maintain basic lab certifications and pursue additional ones.
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
Willingness to pursue NICET, WACEL, or equivalent certifications.
Strong data interpretation and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills (spoken, reading, writing).
Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Perform complex lab testing on construction materials under supervision.
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; ensure QA/QC compliance and accreditation.
Conduct soils tests (Atterberg limits, gradation, proctor, moisture) and learn soil classification.
Conduct concrete tests (labeling samples, curing monitoring, temperature logs).
Collect data, interpret results, document findings, and prepare reports.
