Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Laboratory Technician to join our San Marcos team. You will work with experienced professionals to safely perform concrete and soils laboratory testing and contribute to data reporting.

You will grow professionally with opportunities for advancement and certification through ASTM and other programs as you gain experience in our labs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Must maintain lab certifications for concrete/soils.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Pursue NICET/WACEL or similar certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex lab testing on construction materials under supervision.
• Prepare and demonstrate testing procedures; mentor other lab technicians.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Record and report test results using lab software; prepare summaries.
• Support safety and cleanliness in the laboratory.
