Job summary

ECS Limited in Nashville is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician I to join our team. We offer professional development opportunities and incentives as you advance your skills and gain experience in the Field Services department.

You will safely perform observations, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement, under guidance of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years related experience in construction materials testing.
• Must have and maintain current basic certifications and two advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40–70 lbs repeatedly and work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
• Compute data and draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing.
