Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician to join our Raleigh team. You will work with experienced project management professionals to safely perform a variety of tasks in Field Services, gaining opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities include on-site testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials, data collection, report drafting, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must hold current basic certifications and two advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40–70 lbs multiple times a day; occasionally 85 lbs.
• Must have valid drivers license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for job sites; mileage reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills; reading, writing, speaking.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel following standards.
• Collect and reduce data; draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project teams; inform of changing site conditions.
• Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing.
