Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Construction Manager / Resident Engineer to lead the CM team on large water, infrastructure and environmental programs. You will coordinate with Practice Leaders and CSLs to grow CM services in the West Pacific Region, oversee daily operations, and manage client relationships.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong leadership, and the ability to advocate for innovative construction management approaches, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12 years of construction management / CM or Resident Engineer experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the CM team and manage client relationships.
• Direct construction management activities, including scheduling, risk and quality management on large projects.
• Develop and implement innovative CM strategies; mentor staff and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with CSLs to identify new CM opportunities and support client pitches.
• Ensure work aligns with Contract Documents, safety standards and project timelines.
