Job summary

CDM Smith in California seeks a Senior Construction Manager / Resident Engineer to lead construction management for complex water, infrastructure, environmental and transportation programs. You will direct the CM team, manage client relationships, and coordinate with Practice Leaders and CSLs to grow CM services.

You will define strategies, drive innovation, and ensure projects meet design, safety, budget, and schedule targets. Travel may be required up to 100% for project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• 12 years of relevant experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM and RE role on projects and manage the client relationship.
• Oversee daily operations of the project or program team and ensure design specs, safety, and timelines.
• Coordinate CPM scheduling, claims management, risk management and quality control on large projects.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous improvement in construction processes.
