Blue Ridge Executive Search is seeking a Senior Construction Manager experienced in commercial or energy performance projects. The role emphasizes leading junior PMs, maintaining client relationships, and delivering large, complex jobs with strict budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, chemistry, physics or construction management from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
• 10 years of project management experience
• Experience using estimating and accounting software for analysis
• Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Plan and work with operations to ensure the project is built properly and within budget
• Provide leadership to junior project managers and mentor them toward senior roles
• Maintain professional relationships with owners/customers to achieve high satisfaction
• Plan work for each project phase and coordinate with operations to meet schedules
• Maintain a cooperative environment with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
• Update management on project status and junior PMs' progress
• Use data to monitor project costs and forecast financial health
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting schedule, safety, and personnel
• Ensure proper permitting and compliance with regulations
• Identify improvement areas to boost reputation with employees and customers
