Job summary

Guardian Protection Products is seeking a Construction Manager in Amarillo, TX to oversee all projects, coordinating with superintendents and field staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while selecting and managing subcontractors.

You will participate in proposals, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts, maintain cost controls, QA, and report key metrics. Strong leadership and proficiency with project software are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects and managing budgets
• Knowledge of subcontractor agreements, change orders and progress payments
• Ability to prepare and review proposals, specs, schedules and cost estimates
• Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating with PMs, superintendents, and sales teams

Responsibilities

• Contribute to, validate, and sign off on all proposals and specifications.
• Set project timelines, budgets, and targets; monitor variances and profitability.
• Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents; authorize change orders and payments.
• Coordinate with program managers, sales, and customer management to ensure project success.
• Maintain project schedules, conduct site visits, and prepare performance reports.
