Job summary

Williams is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Houston to lead front-end planning, cost control, and contractor management on large-scale natural gas projects. You’ll direct QA/QC, schedules, and field execution with safety as the top priority, ensuring alignment with partners and project goals.

You’ll mentor inspection teams, review contractor plans, manage risk, and drive progress through closeout, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience with five (5) years’ experience on large projects (greater $50M).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
• Preferred: CCM (CMAA) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis and contract management.
• Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners.
• Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection.
• Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims.
• Develops and runs construction progress reporting; leads construction closeout.
• Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements.
• Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims.
• Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team.
• Other duties as assigned.
