Williams Companies in Houston seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline and large industrial projects. Safety is the top priority as you guide our construction and inspection teams on site.

This role demands strong front-end planning, contract management, and oversight of schedules and QA/QC processes, with significant travel and a proven track record on large projects over $50M.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 8+ years related experience and 5+ years on large projects (>$50M).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management preferred.
• CCM (CMAA) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis and contract management
• Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners
• Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
• Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
• Develops and runs construction progress reporting; leads construction closeout
• Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
• Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims
• Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team
• Other duties as assigned
