Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Tulsa is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline and related projects.

You will guide front-end planning, contract management, and liaison with partners while keeping safety as the highest priority. The role requires strong leadership of construction and inspection teams, reviews of schedules and claims, and ongoing progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience with five (5) years’ experience on large projects (greater $50M)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
• CCM CMAA Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Accounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis and contract management
• Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners
• Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
• Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
• Develops and runs construction progress reporting; leads construction closeout
• Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
• Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims
• Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team
• Other duties as assigned
