Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager Staff in Houston to plan, coordinate, and execute natural gas pipeline facility construction projects.

The role drives strategic practices and ensures safety and regulatory compliance across contractors and internal teams. The candidate will oversee schedules, budgets, and closeout activities, mentor staff, and collaborate on process facility or pipeline construction initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 12+ years related experience on small to mega projects
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience on large to mega projects is required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides project leadership to establish project strategies, plans and construction execution philosophy
• Reviews contractor schedules and budgets and ensures contract changes meet requirements
• Ensures safety, health and environmental regulations are followed by employees and contractors
• Expedites engineering and procurement to support construction
• Leads construction closeout, including data books and final reports
• Develops enterprise construction quality program and ensures inspector qualification compliance
• Mentors others
• Performs other duties as assigned
