Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager Staff to lead the delivery of gas pipeline, facility, and capital projects on the Gulf Coast. This senior role shapes construction strategy while mentoring future leaders and partnering across engineering, procurement, and operations.

You will drive safe, compliant execution, manage contractor performance, and push continuous improvements in quality and efficiency across brownfield and greenfield sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years of construction experience on small to mega projects, including 7+ years on large to mega projects.
• Proven ability to lead construction efforts and influence outcomes in high-stakes environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing contractors and construction contracts across complex scopes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for Gulf Coast facility projects from planning through closeout.
• Oversee contractor performance, schedules, budgets, and contract alignment to keep projects on track.
• Champion safety and environmental compliance, ensuring all work meets regulatory and company requirements.
• Partner with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to resolve challenges and maintain momentum.
• Drive construction quality by establishing standards and ensuring inspection and permitting compliance.
• Lead project closeout, documentation, and lessons learned to improve future execution.
