Job summary

Egis is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager Liaison to provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the I-80 Corridor Construction Management project in Will County, Illinois. The role requires a current Illinois PE license and extensive, multi-project management experience across large transportation infrastructure initiatives.

You will coordinate with utilities, railroads, and multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, constructability reviews, and effective contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 15+ years of experience managing major transportation infrastructure or public works construction projects.
• Experience with Phase III Construction Engineering and transportation project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of IDOT policies, procedures, standards, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Phase III engineering services contracts for the corridor.
• Conduct constructability reviews and evaluate project delivery strategies.
• Review contract packaging and construction timing; coordinate with utilities and railroads.
• Coordinate with multiple Construction Managers and the Design Corridor Manager.
• Assist with construction claims review and resolution.
