Job summary

Vanir is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead K-12 construction management efforts across multiple Washington state projects. You will ensure contract compliance, schedules, budgets, and quality, reporting to the Project Director and possibly supervising staff. Travel to Tacoma and Seattle projects may be required.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in construction/engineering with owner-rep/CM experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years managing construction/engineering projects, minimum 3 years owner-rep/CM support.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction management for K-12 projects, ensuring contract/adherence.
• Serve as liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Develop and manage project procedures, contracts, and A/E coordination.
• Monitor project controls, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Direct and mentor project staff and teams.
• Lead meetings and ensure documentation and issue resolution.
• Oversee logistics, staffing, and resource planning.
• Ensure project closeout and delivery to owner.
