Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Director – K-12 Education & Capital Programs to lead complex school projects across King and Pierce Counties in the Pacific Northwest.

The role demands strategic leadership, strong client relationships, and proven delivery of capital programs in public sector settings. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee budgets and schedules, manage risk, and coordinate with districts, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, construction management, capital program management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing K-12 educational facility projects or public-sector capital improvement programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and overseeing complex projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, planning, coordination, and oversight for capital projects and programs from initiation to closeout.
• Ensure alignment with client objectives, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relations, and deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting to clients and senior leadership.
