Job summary

Salas O’Brien seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site field execution for secure, high-hazard federal facility programs. You will manage schedule, cost, and subcontractor coordination from mobilization through substantial completion, with emphasis on ICD 705 security standards and hazardous occupancy rules.

Role requires close coordination with safety and quality teams and Engineering Services During Construction, and substantial travel to project sites across federal facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with deep construction mgmt experience.
• Minimum 12 years in construction management on secure, federal facilities.
• Experience with fixed-price design-build on complex projects.
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and DOE/NNSA requirements preferred.
• Experience coordinating security-cleared workforce.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day field construction execution and sequencing.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor and trade activities.
• Interface management between shell and process/security buildout.
• Coordinate personnel security clearance timing for workforce.
• Collaborate with safety and quality functions and ES/DC teams.
• Lead field coordination meetings with stakeholders and clients.
• Support commissioning activities and project handover.
• Provide monthly progress reporting to leadership.
