Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead all construction projects for its campuses, labs, and locations. You will manage work by contractors and consultants, coordinate design and schedules, and ensure delivery in line with contracts and applicable laws.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field, plus 4+ years of construction management experience, including budgeting and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of construction management experience.
• 4+ years of experience with financial, risk analysis, budgeting, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis.
• Proven negotiation, project management, project estimating, and budgeting skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across the US.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all construction project management for company campus, labs, and locations.
• Manages work performed by contractors and consultants and provides general management of construction related jobs.
• Manage, direct, and coordinate construction projects for company campus, labs, and locations.
• Oversee project design and project schedules on proposed projects.
• Responsible for delivering the project to the client in compliance with all contractual requirements and in accordance with Federal, State, and local law requirements.
• Provide project budget estimates for building and site work on proposed projects.
• Coordinate the identification of contractors, bid projects, contracts, develops and manages construction project budgets.
