VSP Vision Care is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead company campus, labs, and locations projects. You will oversee design, schedules, budgets, and contractor coordination to deliver compliant, high-quality results.

The role requires 4+ years in construction management, strong budgeting and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% (up to 50% across the US). A Bachelor's degree in a related field is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, risk analysis, and cost-benefit considerations.
• Proven negotiation, project management, and budgeting skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; up to 50% across the US.

Responsabilités

• Oversee project design and project schedules on proposed projects.
• Deliver the project to the client in compliance with all contractual requirements and in accordance with Federal, State, and local law requirements.
• Provide project budget estimates for building and site work on proposed projects.
• Coordinate the identification of contractors, bid projects, contracts, develops and manages construction project budgets.
• Analyze specific site issues to determine appropriate scope of work needed.
• Identify site deficiencies and determine impact to budget; coordinate review of construction drawings and procedures for cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with relevant staff, the development of the construction schedule and monitor progress against that schedule.
• Maintain communication with all external and internal team members and all other involved parties on schedules, milestone action dates, and costs.
• Manage the work being undertaken to ensure full compliance with all relevant standards (ISO 9000, ADA, local labor laws and safety procedures).
• Inspect construction progress on a regular pre-determined schedule.
• Monitor performance of suppliers and sub-contractors to determine compliance with contractual obligations.
• Escalate issues arising from disputes or sub-standard performance.
• Responsible for project closeout and reporting.
