Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. in Marquette, MI seeks an experienced civil construction professional to lead field inspections and construction management on large projects. You will document work via daily inspection reports and support cost estimates, schedules, and constructability reviews.

Qualifications include 5-10 years of relevant experience, a civil engineering background, strong communication, and travel readiness. Located in our Marquette office with potential marketing duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-10 years of construction, construction quality assurance, or construction management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Adobe Acrobat.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to project sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork and initiative.
• Experience with civil engineering construction and field reporting.

Responsibilities

• Construction management and inspection of large civil engineering projects.
• Perform field inspections at required project sites.
• Prepare status and daily inspection reports for documentation.
• Assist with constructability reviews, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Support design engineers and construction managers on technical tasks.
• Assist with marketing and business development, including proposals.
• Position located in Marquette, MI office.
