Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced construction management professional to inspect large civil projects in Michigan, ensure compliance with plans and permits, and document site observations.

The role involves support across design and construction tasks, including quantity reviews and RFI responses, with potential involvement in marketing efforts. Located in Marquette, MI, the candidate will travel to job sites as needed, demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and initiative, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of construction, construction quality assurance, or construction management experience.
• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or higher preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Project, and Adobe Acrobat; valid driver’s license and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections at required project sites.
• Prepare status and daily inspection reports for documentation of work observed.
• Assist with constructability reviews, cost estimates, schedules, and field coordination.
