PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager/Superintendent for the Los Angeles area to lead the full lifecycle of major educational and commercial projects. The role requires extensive PM/construction experience, strong leadership, and hands-on management of budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Collaboration with district staff, public agencies, and design teams is essential. The position emphasizes BIM coordination, safety compliance (OSHA 30), and adherence to CM

Formación

• Fifteen years of full-time paid professional construction/PM experience.
• Five years with full responsibility for projects >$20M.
• Design-build, BIM, LEED/CHPS, DSA processes, OSHA 30 experience (preferred).
• Experience leading modernization/educational or large public projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all phases from pre-construction to close-out of assigned projects.
• Review pre-construction docs and provide comments to designers.
• Plan, organize, and report project status to upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies and district staff during pre-construction and construction.
• Oversee budget and schedule; monitor monthly status.
• Manage contractor daily activities; review schedules and RFC responses.
• Review substitution submittals and ensure compliance with specs.
• Negotiate change orders; address schedule impacts promptly.
• Monitor payments to contractors, architects, engineers, and other parties.
• Administer professional service agreements; coordinate fixtures/equipment delivery.
• Close-out with DSA certification and financial close-out.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management

Bachelor’s degree + CCM credential within 1 year

Undergraduates with >20 years PM/construction exp + CCM credential within 1 year

CCM credential may substitute for required education
