Job summary

AMJH Build in Dallas seeks a senior construction manager to run luxury residential builds from permit to closeout. You will deliver end-to-end projects on time and on budget, ensuring premium finishes for discerning buyers.

You will own schedules in Excel, coordinate trades, manage cost in the field, and liaise with city inspectors to meet Dallas requirements. This role requires leadership across multiple Dallas projects.

The role

We are hiring a senior construction manager to run our builds in the field. You deliver large luxury builds end to end, on time and on budget, from permit through punch list and closeout, and you hold the standard a luxury buyer expects.

What you will own

• Run large ground-up luxury single-family homes and townhome projects in Dallas, end to end, on time and on budget, from permit through punch list and closeout.
• Own the schedule: build and maintain the project schedule in Excel, sequence trades, order long-lead materials ahead of need, and keep the critical path moving.
• Run the field: walk sites daily, hold subcontractors to plans and specifications, and keep finish quality at a luxury standard.
• Manage cost in the field: flag variances early and verify subcontractor work before payment requests go forward.
• Coordinate permits, inspections and City of Dallas requirements.
• Report weekly to the partners with schedule, cost and photo status for every active build.

What we are looking for

• Has delivered large luxury residential builds end to end, on time and on budget.
• Builds detailed project schedules in Excel and runs the job to them.
• Has run more than one Dallas build at the same time.
• A deep bench of DFW subcontractors, or the standing to build one fast.
• Reads plans fluently and catches problems on paper before they cost money in the field.
