Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Must be licensed to practice law in California (ABA/local bar).
5–10 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience desired.
Specialty in construction law strongly preferred.
Knowledge of labor law, contracts, codes, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Review, modify, and create construction contracts, government contracts, and contractor agreements.
Provide legal counsel by analyzing situations and determining strategy.
Prepare legal documents such as correspondence, motions, pleadings, briefs, and claims.
Resolve construction claims and disputes to avoid litigation where possible.
Mediate, negotiate, arbitrate, litigate, and argue motions in court.
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate client billing and meetings.
