True North Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Attorney to join our Riverside, California team. You will review contracts, provide defense or GC counsel, and handle dispute resolution with a focus on avoiding litigation when possible.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of construction litigation experience, a J.D., and active California bar membership. Knowledge of HVAC, labor law, building codes, and safety regs is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience.
• Licensed to practice in California; ABA/local bar active.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, labor law, contracts, codes, and safety regs.
• Excellent writing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, modify, and create construction contracts and government contracts.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy for clients.
• Prepare legal documents: motions, pleadings, briefs, and claims.
• Resolve construction claims and disputes to avoid litigation where possible.
• Mediate, negotiate, arbitrate, litigate, and argue motions in court.
• Supervise admin staff and paralegals; manage client billing and case wrap-up.
