Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney specializing in construction law for a Tampa Bay area firm. The role leads complex litigation with low billable requirements, uncapped bonuses, and generous family benefits, including 100% employer-paid medical coverage and potential hybrid/remote work.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years civil litigation experience and Florida construction law knowledge, with strong writing, negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of civil litigation and/or construction law experience.
• Proven experience managing complex, high-stakes litigation.
• Florida construction law experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and strategic skills.
• Ability to independently lead cases and advise business owners.
• Board certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction project delivery and critical path delay analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation from initial claims through trial, arbitration, or board hearings.
• Handle commercial construction disputes, delay claims, and other high-value matters.
• Develop legal strategies that protect clients and support business objectives.
• Advise contractors, owners, suppliers, and business leaders on legal and operational issues.
• Mentor and direct attorneys and paralegals throughout case development.
• Produce high-quality legal work while maintaining strong client relationships.
