Job summary

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a motivated mid-level Associate Attorney to join its expanding Construction Litigation Practice in Tampa. This is a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, with direct hire for a full-time position.

The attorney will represent clients in construction disputes, draft complex litigation documents, manage discovery, and collaborate with partners to develop litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• 5–7 years of substantive construction litigation experience, including personal injury matters.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Experience handling discovery and depositions.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and client-service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay-related litigation.
• Draft sophisticated litigation-related documents with precision and strategic insight.
• Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness coordination.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
