Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar member with 4+ years of construction law experience at a law firm.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial support.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Support partners on construction litigation, contract, licensing, and advisory matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Conduct legal research involving case law, statutes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Handle discovery, deposition preparation, client communications, and trial support.
• Manage deadlines and multiple matters with professionalism and focus.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on construction disputes and strategy.

• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients on construction industry disputes and legal strategy

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction law, construction litigation, or construction-focused commercial litigation experience required
• Law firm experience required
• Strong litigation, drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills required
• Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial support required
• Construction contract drafting, licensing, DOAH, public records, and industry standards/code research experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment
