Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector (SCDOT) in our Charlotte, NC office. We are a self-motivated team focused on growth and quality project execution.

The Senior Inspector will lead field inspections, coordinate with contractors and NOVA staff, and produce comprehensive daily reports to document test results and conformance with specifications. Ideal candidates have SCDOT certification or relevant credentials, 2+ years of roadway inspection experience, and a strong

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in construction inspection focused on roadway field inspection and HMA QA lab testing.
Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures.
Minimum 3 years of roadway and bridge construction experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections for soils, foundations, pavements, concrete, masonry, wood framing and steel.
Coordinate with contractors and NOVA staff regarding execution and test results.
Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports.
