Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. (GPI) seeks Senior Construction Inspectors to provide inspection services on Road & Bridge projects across Connecticut for CTDOT, Turnpike, and Transit programs. You will observe contractor work and ensure compliance with plans and specs, while assisting the Resident Engineer with project administration.

GPI is a multi-discipline firm focused on transportation infrastructure. The role requires daily reporting, field testing, and outdoor work, with occasional night/weekend

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, or a related field of study, or 4 years of experience with a NICET II
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Prior experience in performing construction inspection
• Must be physically capable and willing to work outdoors
• Work Contractor hours, may include nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assisting the project Resident Engineer with project administration.
• Complete daily reports, quantity calculations, and reports for construction work observed.
• Perform daily construction inspection of work activities, which may include the following:
