Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants P.C. seeks a Chief Inspector for projects in Glastonbury, CT and surrounding areas. You will supervise inspectors, coordinate field activities, and ensure compliance with contract documents and regulations.

Ideal candidates bring NICET IV or CT PE, DOT experience, strong communication, and a proven track record in supervision. Willingness to travel to job sites and obtain OSHA certifications is required.

Qualifications

• NICET IV certification or CT PE license required.
• 5+ years civil/highway engineering with 4+ years inspection and 2+ years supervisory experience.
• ConnDOT or other DOT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and track construction project progress.
• Advise inspectors on project management and inspection issues.
• Prepare construction documents and records; ensure budget compliance.
• Provide assurance to clients that work meets contract documents and standards.
