Job summary

Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, D.P.C. seeks an Office Engineer in Glastonbury, CT, to support upcoming infrastructure projects. You will handle project docs, submittals, RFIs, and pay estimates while ensuring contract compliance and coordinating field activities.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a Civil Engineering degree or NICET II+, and strong communication and software skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or NICET II+ or higher preferred.
• Experience with DOT projects or federal funding is desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project documentation using ConnDOT filing systems.
• Review requirements, plans, specifications and contract documents.
• Process submittals, RFIs, memos, and prepare pay estimates.
• Monitor contract compliance and perform site inspections; take meeting minutes.
