Job summary

Keville Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full-time Chief Inspector I to lead daily construction operations in Rocky Hill, CT. You will oversee inspection staff, ensure compliance with plans and contracts, and coordinate with design teams on RFIs and shop drawings.

Responsibilities include managing reporting, payments, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate brings NICET HCI Level 4 or equivalent certification, 5 years of construction experience with supervisory duties, and strong communication

Qualifications

NICET HCI Level 4, PE, CCM, or EIT certifications are required.
5 years general construction experience with 4 years in field inspection and 2 years in supervision.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and construction reporting software.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction operations and ensure contractor conformance with plans, specs, and contracts.
Manage inspection staff, review and deliver daily inspection reports, monitor performance and schedule adherence.
Coordinate with design staff on RFIs, shop drawings, and constructability reviews; oversee office staff and contractor payments.
