Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six years of experience in infrastructure construction and maintenance.
• Two years of experience as a crew supervisor.
• Valid Georgia commercial driver's license may be required; may require wastewater collection, water distribution, SWANA, or Georgia landfill certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates staff; manages schedules; reviews timesheets; assists with performance appraisals; trains staff in operations and procedures.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work to crews; ensures resources; monitors progress; reports to management.
• Plans crew activity; coordinates with contractors and other agencies; estimates time and costs for materials; plans material support for projects.
• Consults with staff on complex issues; analyzes, makes decisions, and responds to emergencies; troubleshoots mechanical problems.
• Coordinates repair and maintenance of facilities, vehicles, and equipment; conducts safety meetings and inspections.
• Evaluates contractors’ work for scope, specifications, and completeness; ensures on-site safety measures are in place.
• Handles customer complaints and assigns qualified personnel to service them.
• Reviews construction drawings and plans.
