You will lead accounting, job costing, budgeting, and compliance, partnering with project managers and leadership to drive financial performance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience (3+ in construction), and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Manage and maintain accurate job costing and project financial tracking.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost variances.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and industry regulations.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls.
• Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
