Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc., a PCI group company, is seeking a Senior Estimator for its Des Moines, IA operations. You will lead estimating activities, develop bid strategies, and coordinate with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to finalize competitive bids.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed takeoffs, evaluating quotes, and delivering accurate proposals. Requires 5–7 years estimating and 10+ years in construction; software proficiency with industry tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years estimating construction projects.
• Must have 10+ years total construction experience.
• Experience estimating or managing specialty scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs for applicable scopes of work.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and align with bid documents.
• Develop relationships with local customers to support PCI objectives.
• Collaborate with owners, CM, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Attend pre-bid site walks and prepare detailed takeoffs and estimates.
• Lead bid strategy meetings for major pursuits.
