Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator for our Irvine team to produce accurate cost estimates for a diverse range of construction projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, quantities, and market conditions, and coordinating with owners, architects, and developers to win bids.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of estimation experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with estimation software and MS Office in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficient in reading blueprints/schematics and cost estimation software.
• Strong math, analytics, and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates for construction projects including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review blueprints, design drawings, and specs to prepare cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather data for estimation and bidding.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients on cost management.
