The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of estimating experience, and proficiency with ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimating, with experience in commercial estimating.
• Proven track record in cost estimation for various construction types.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Preparation: Review plans to develop precise cost estimates.
• Cost Analysis: Perform quantity take-offs and analyze materials/labor costs.
• Bid Management: Prepare and manage competitive bids and respond to client inquiries.
• Subcontractor and Supplier Coordination: Solicit bids, evaluate proposals, negotiate pricing.
• Risk Assessment: Identify risks affecting project costs, including site conditions and material shortages.
• Project Documentation: Prepare bid proposals, cost summaries, and historical cost data.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with project teams, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Market Research: Stay updated on construction materials and labor costs.
• Cost Tracking and Budgeting: Track project costs and assist in budgeting.
