Job summary

Teichert in Pleasanton, CA seeks an experienced Estimator to contribute to project profitability by producing accurate estimates from drawings and specifications, coordinating takeoffs, manpower, and material needs.

You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents, prepare change orders, maintain documentation, and foster strong client relationships while supporting safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of estimating experience in construction.
• Senior estimators should have prior experience supervising bidding efforts.
• Experience in managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Coordinates takeoffs, manpower, equipment, and material needs.
• Prepares change orders and project documentation as required.
• Partners with Project Managers and Superintendents on cost control.
• Builds and maintains positive client relationships.
