Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of five years estimating experience in construction.
• Senior estimators should have prior experience supervising bidding efforts.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background investigation.
• Valid Driver's License and ongoing safety training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares estimates by reviewing proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope.
• Estimates manpower, equipment, and material needs; coordinates with field personnel to schedule work.
• Prepares change orders and coordinates with procurement on job setup and documentation.
• Partners with Project Managers and Superintendents on problem resolution and cost control.
• Identifies potential lines of business to create new opportunities; builds and maintains client relationships.
