Job summary

COA Network Inc. is seeking an experienced estimator in Omaha to prepare cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals.

You will develop economical construction methods, produce comprehensive deliverables, and support subcontractor pricing while collaborating with operations and field teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, plus 3+ years estimating experience and proficiency with estimating software and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years estimating experience; 5+ years construction experience preferred.
• Experience with large general contracting projects and multi‑million to multi‑billion estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Develop economical methods to construct projects.
• Provide comprehensive deliverables for major estimates.
• Apply company processes and tools to develop project estimates.
• Perform quantity surveys of materials on project plans.
• Read and outline project specifications and maintain audit trails.
• Support vendor/subcontractor pricing and bid solicitation.
• Collaborate with operations and field staff to improve profitability.
