Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator in the construction industry to develop detailed project cost estimates reflecting construction costs and project timelines. You will analyze blueprints, specs, proposals, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, at least five years of estimation experience, and proficiency with CAD, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimation.
• Proficient in CAD, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates reflecting construction costs and timelines.
• Analyze blueprints, specs, proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors on changes to cost estimates.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide buy vs produce.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements for project duration.
• Conduct site visits to gather data for competitive bids.
